This thread is filled with shit trolling really. People who either want something out of a series that was never meant to be, or have some demented idea of what the series was. The crux of the matter is, this is a GOOD game, so it deserves to sell. Whether you like it or not.

Bolded; that remains to be seen, we still don't know how western audiences will respond to it, let alone western reviewers.

Italic; games don't sell what they deserve, they sell what they sell based on demand, advertising and overall appeal. Liking it or not has no effect on this what so ever. Plenty of good games sell poorly or average. I feel that Valkyria Chronicles is an incredibly good game and most reviewers feel the same way but its still failing to move in big numbers.

PS: For the record, I think it'll do decent numbers once its out. Won't have the same kinda legs as a first party Wii title but I can easily see 7-800k lifetime. It will depend on advertising and some good old actual appeal though.

I never said they sell what they deserve. Just some are arguing that it doesn't deserve good sales. Seems like pre-released damage control by Wii fans who want a big square-enix game to me. As for it being a good game, it is almost definite( or as definite as an opinion can get) that it will be based off of Japanese review and Previews. Definitely not the shitty game some are trying to push it as.

Crystal Bearers is not a "Crystal Chronicles", it's a "minigame collection". Is a big piece of sh***, a joke from Square-Enix for all Wii owners.

Don't be fooled..

it will be not huge seller from what i seen.
the game does have a art style similar to FF12.

it deserve to sell more, but demographic isn't supporting it

Agreed. Its probably my most anticipated Wii title after a new Zelda!

I remember playing the sidegames in previous FF games about 6/10 as much as I played the main quest.

Blitzball in FFX is something I spent hours on.
The card game in FF8 (Triple Triad?) is something I played MORE than the main quest.

If the minigames in this FFCC:TCB are as good as the ones in the old games, it will be awesome.

Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. "  thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."

As long as it isnt FF7, its all good. How I hated FF7 so much. It looks like it'll be better than CC on the GC, which I wasnt much into.

A little pre-mature dont you think?

I am buying a copy and I havent played a Final Fantasy since the one with Sephiroth and Cloud!!

Yes, the Wii audience is finally sick of shitty spinoffs and "tests".  Bring the real thing (like MoHun, Tales or Musou did) or don't bother.

More like a niche group that knows nothing about the games is talking out of their asses. I WANTED this game for years now. It isn't a spinoff, and it has a larger budget than probably all of the previous games comibined. I guess some people just want them to port a downgraded version of FFXIII though....

Oh, I think CCCB looks infinitely more interesting than FFXIII.  And as an ARPG nut, I'm pretty sure I'll like it more.  But c'mon, it's a spinoff of a spinoff, it's not actually an RPG, it was launching less than a month ahead of FFXIII and even it's producer was saying it was gonna flop... the writing was on the wall for this one.  It's too bad, but no one should be surprised.

And make no mistake, MH3's budget likely dwarfed it by orders of magnitude.
