Isn't ioi focused solely on this site now? I vaguely remember him mentioning with 2.0 launch this is his main job now. So with all this advertising / traffic I do believe he is making some kind of living

Well, GamerPrint is no Ralph Lauren or Tommy Hilfiger, is it? Or even a NEXT, or a GAP. Or a Primark (which is cheaper). |
Have you ever bought a T-Shirt from Primark? They have a life expectancy of a few months and rarely fit properly after one or two washes, poor quality to say the least.
The T-shirts from Gamerprint are high quality and are screen printed. To be honest, for £15 you are probably going to get a fairly decent T-Shirt, one that will have the life expectancy of dozens of Primark T-Shirts.

This man knows his t-shirts!
If I were to go around my school with an ad on my forehead, I would make probably like a dollar for each kid I marketed to.
ioi markets to 50,000 people a day with 10 different ads. That's 182,500,000 dollars a year.
I'd say he could buy out the Earth and force people to buy one of each video game for easy counting.

Not sure why you are making advertising on this site seem like a joke or something? |
A lot of people don't really understand online advertising and I wouldn't expect them to.
The stronger the brand does NOT = more money made.
I work for an online advertising agency and all the big clients we represent have corporate rates which are below rate card on most sites. But the little hotel or a smaller client have to pay more money with most sites.
The fact you mentioned that this site has 650000 uniques indicates VGchartz is no joke.
i hope he makes a lot of cash cause i really enjoy my time on vgc and the best its free!

Those are games. This is a game site. Supposedly, one of the top 20 game sites. Naturally, they're going to advertise here. They advertised everywhere else as well.
I don't see GamerPrint ads on any other website, to be honest. And I'm pretty sure I've seen those T-Shirts on the VGC Store....is that part of VGC now?
He also has to spare a little change for his team!
I should think and hope he makes quite a tidy sum, he's made one helluva site for all us after all!
