Damnit not that scene, anything but that. It is sadest thing I have ever seen in gaming.
Sorry guys but the Opera scene, as amazing and exceptional as it is, pales in comparison to the ending of Final Fantasy X.
If Final Fantasy X-2 was never created, Final Fantasy X would even annihilate FFVII in terms of story.

I know... I just feel very sorry for Otacon and Wolf in this scene. It's hard to move me to tears, but this scene did it the very first time I played the game, and it still rattles me. So much emotion and meaning behind it, damn Kojima xD

The ending of FFX was very good indeed, one of the best Final Fantasy endings, but it was a bit predictable what would happen once you defeated Sin and you-know-who. The entire game hints you that would happen in the end ;)
The opera scene caught you completely unaware at that time, you weren't expecting for something like that ;)

the FFX ending made it worse!!!!!
I actually cried during the FF10 ending, & i DIDN'T EVEN CRY IN TITANIC!
the way they did it, the way she ran & went through him and fell on the floor & everything after that was just amazing combined with the music
