i never played prototype but my best friend play both prototype and infamous. he said that both games were excellent. i have a feeling that this will be the same case for dante's inferno vs god of war. ps3 owners are lucky to be able to play both but multiplat status doesn't make a game automatically suck.
I am looking forward to bayonetta the most out of them
As a PS360 owner, I went with inFamous. This time, I'm actually going to go with Bayonetta! I think 360 only owners just went with the game that they had. Why would they want to hype inFamous?

I read the OP, and I get the impression that unless I say God of War III will be better than Dante's Inferno I will be called biased or being in denial.
I have played the first God of War and I wasn't impressed by it. It's just my opinion so it's not that big a deal. I am more interested in Dante's Inferno than God of War III, based on what I've seen of DI and my earlier experience with GoW. But you also mentioned Bayonetta and I if I were to rank them it would be:
1. Bayonetta
2. Dante's Inferno
3. God of War III
I know a lot of people love GoW and will probably prefer GoWIII over the other games and I'm perfectly fine with that.

Can you compare
FFXIII and Mass Effect 2 ? JRPG vs WRPG --- Answer = NO !
Can you compare
God of War and Bayonetta ? ---- answer = NO !
W Hack'n Slash vs J Hack'n slash. (I made that up)
Heres the difference.
In God of War (and shameless rip off Dante's Inferno) the comabt is more user friendly. Its easy to learn but hard to master.
Harder difficulty levels are sadistically hard, while other difficulty levels are challenging.
Other than the combat, God of war has flight sections and platforming/puzzle sections.
The overall scale of the game is larger too.
GoW and DI are Western made games.
In Bayonetta,DMC and NG, Combat is hard to learn and even hard to master and combos are extremely difficult to pull off, leaving your hands sore.
The other thing is that the only selling point is the combat...you'll be pretty much beating people up till the end of the game and thats it. Stories are extremely cheesy too. While these games are awesome, they don't appeal to a wide range of gamers as God of War. Normal difficulty levels are extremely challenging and Harder difficulty levels may cause extreme frustration and broken controllers.
These games are made in Japan.
@forest-spirit
How can you rank games you haven't played :O

This opinion of yours is OK since you seem to own a PS3.
What I meant to say is that people without PS3s claim DI is better just because of fanboyism are in denial.

Could you explain why? Let me give reasons for my point of view: -Santa Monica >>>>>>>>> EA -Visceral seems to be spending their time thinking up disgusting new ad campaigns, rather than developing. -They're overdoing the grossness factor. Even God of War doesn't have (male) genitalia everywhere... |
- EA Visceral games >>>>>> Sony Santa Monica (without David Jaffe)
- Hell >>>>>>> Greek mythology
- Sustained 60 frames per second >>>>>> 30/60 fps mix
