You are so lucky, I wish I took up Japanese, for some reason Square feels that it must change the small things I like...plus if I took up Japanese I could be playing Yakuza 3 already.

It doesn't - assuming that you mean a song composed in English instead of a translated song. FF's been getting along fine with translating its vocal themes since FFVIII, it should still be fine now.

But then, Uematsu used to be the one writing the stuff, so I dunno.
