Every arcade racers I've played uses rubberband AI  to keep the race closer so  I seriously doubt this will ever changed.

Totally agree. However it is harder to detect cheaters on DS than on Wii...

It could be eaisly changed it already has the Kongs in it :)

I don't know how one would sync up the online with the downloaded tracks...that's an excellent question. Perhaps you could select the course you want to play and it will match you up with people who have also downloaded that track and want to play it as well. Figure with almost 20 million copies of MKWii sold, if the next installment were to be as big, there would have to be at least a handful of people that would both own the same track as well as want to play it. But I'd just leave that to Nintendo to figure out. I also have some issue with some of the items; I don't like losing my items just because someone used a POW block or a lightning bolt...things like that.

They should add flowers as items in the next game like the Fire, Ice, Fast, and Slow Flower.

I like the idea of adding flowers in some way.

I don't know if using a mushroom or star is the only way to avoid the Blue Shell on the Wii version. On the DS you can do a Miniturbo and jump just before getting hit to avoid it, don't know about the Wii version.

The problem is not the blue shell, but that in the Wii version is really annoying. Just make it appear less. And battle mode should be fixed. I want to be able to play just against my friends.

i like the grounded blue shell from mario kart 64. it would hit some people in the way before hitting the person in first place.

i think that would make it more intersting.
