The more 2nd rate games you buy the more 2nd rate games you get:'(

And when they flop it's like,"We are unable to find success on Wii".......sigh

I can only hope good things will come from this.....HOPE!

Gaming make me feel GOOD!

This could be like resident Evil 4.

A 2 year old game re-released for the Wii and sells fairly well.

It's as my signature states (below my comic banner). Those games don't stop being awesome just because they are older. Also states why NSMBWii is selling. That kind of game didn't stop being awesome jut because it's older.

Modern Warfare is a quality game from all accounts, and it really shows the problem with traditionalist gamers that some think the quality magically goes away just because it's older and on the Wii.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

the profits on this humble low cost port must be skyrocketing. Take note EA, UBI,Capcom. Theres a whole bunch of core market on the wii that buys 3rd party stuff.

Its a great game and it makes me pissed that all these damn developers complain that core 3rd party game dont sell. Stop making spinoff games, ports of older games, stop with the stupid tests. Make some good AAA games and they will see that the market is there, just make the games good.

CoD: MWR is doing spectacularly well for a Mature game on the Wii.

Anyone who says otherwise is ignoring the obvious Wii demographics, and grasping at straws.

Not bad, not bad at all.

MW2 would have done much better than this if released along with the HD consoles on wii due to the general hype surrounding the game.

I expect better than Cod:WaW figures LTD and surely that equate to a tidy profit for Activision considering the far cheaper dev costs in contrast to the HD consoles. Not X360 or PS3 profits but profit nonetheless.

No kidding.  500k at $15-$20 to the publisher per copy?  That's $7.5 - $10 million in revenue.  I know it didn't cost that much to port.

And to add Phalanx absolutely 0! Marketing.

Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.

Actually, the game retails for 60,- so that means around 25,- per copy directly to the publisher.
