Wasn't Wii meant to be 60% UP in the UK on last week, yet on this latest chart is says -15% for the UK?
PS3 will sell more then 360 in NA next week, due to Wal-mart deal ending, so the gap this week was 70k, next week, who knows

EVER 360 SKU in EU is cheaper than EVERY PS3 SKU available in EU (this is not the case in america)
despite this outselling it by that much can be defined as a "whooping"

What gaga person? I am leo-j.. I don't think wii would have sold 700K if it was $249, it was barely outselling the 360 at that price , it needed a price cut to take back its spot

PR spin would be if he said that the 360 was below the PS3 because of consumer mentality shifting in the move to December...etc, with lots of psychoanalysis, and turning it into a good thing.
Kowenkicki just stated a fact. A fact which would ordinarily be overlooked, because it's not really of any significance (13 million isn't a major milestone, and the 360 overtook the Xbox in Europe LONG ago), but it's true, and there's no opinion or unsubstantiated rumour in his post.

Leo please tell me you aren't trying to take the wind out of these sales by saying it wouldn't have done it without the price cut

November + December total wii will be up YOY. The difference is only 10% this week, and December sales could be up 75%-100%.
People forget this quickly but just last year people were still lining up outside of stores to either sell them on ebay (they were selling for $350-$450 in december), and people wanted to make sure they could get them for their kids so they got them early.

Hm, what about the PS3 outselling the XBox360 (total sales) in Europe within a month? Is it feasible?
