Nope, its simply awful. This bias is clear as day.

Then please go ahead and show me a post that didn't give reasoning behind their opinion on why they wouldn't want a PS360 setup. Actually start supporting your claims. You call bias, yet don't have any evidence to support it.
Lack of communication is an obvious problem for some games. Even the PS2 allowed support for usb headsets and usb keyboards for communication during online play. Nintendo's decision to omit these options shows the emphasis on family friendliness at the expense of functionality.

+1 I never really understood why there was not at least an option to allow a party system. Like for example, if you are playing the conduit and you like the group of people you are playing with, why would it be so difficult to just allow that team to stay together (as long as they are all online)? This would actually "compliment" the friends code option and it would further streamline the matchmaking process all together. Heck this could just be game specifiic and not be allowed on all games.

Hmmm... well the current online setup of the Wii is terrible. Not admiting anything else would be better is my evidence.

Well again, that is an opinion. To some who give very little value to online, it isn't terrible at all. To others who give a lot of value toward online it is as you say, terrible. I for one think all the consoles have bad and good aspects in their online, overall they fail in comparison with PC games though.

I won't admit that the alternatives would be better for me because I have no desire to game online but I have a very strong desire to limit my son's exposure to the kind of crap that usually goes on in online games.
Just use the single Wii Code, that way games can implement anykind of unified experience they way. If they want Conduit players to talk Reflex players then they can figure a way, but this multi FC is a PAIN IS THE ARSE.
Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.
i honestly wish nintendo had a system similiar to the others, but looking at theirs right now the only problems are needing a friend code for every game, not being able to see whos online or not and having to have both playerss put in each others code( as opposed to one putting in friend code and the other accepting friend request or whatever) at least those are the three that annoy me about their system.

Hmmm... well here's a crazy idea. How about not connecting the Wii online so your kid stays safe from the horrors of online gaming.
For the other millions of people who aren't children and play Wii, it would be nice to have an enjoyable online experience. Perhaps make it a download like the web browser so only people who really want it have access to it.
