That would be the point, yes. "Reviews are the only way we can determine what console has had the best SW released" is an erroneous statement in several ways, primarily in that it's not the only way.

Yes, PS3 should be (like) Wii. Its not impossible and it could help Sony. Maybe that waggle thing they are making will be enough already. :)

Yes I actually got hit by that few months ago.But while I myself hated game like LittleBigPlanet, you can't just disagree that its good game.

While I don't care about Gran Turismo 5, I can't disagree that its gonna be great game.

Reviews don't always matter, but last year Ps3 won in most gamingsites best lineup award.

Yes I didin't mean Wii/Xbox 360 has only 1-3 good titles coming, just meant it like 30 to 6 or etc.

Then basically everyone doesn't hate Britney Spears/Madonna.  You might and all your friends might, but you shouldn't come to the conclusion that you're the final say and that you're the only ones with an opinion that matters.  Obviously, as you can see, millions of people spent money on it because they like it. 

I can also disagree that LBP is a bad game... I think it's a pretty good game actually. 

The problem with reviews are that they’re an evaluation of something based on a certain set of values that the reviewer believes is important, but the values an individual reviewer (or collection of similar reviewers) generally do not reflect the values of the market on the whole.

Videogames are generally reviewed by a very narrow demographic of gamers who hold very similar values, and these values are often the opposite end of the spectrum of what the general public values. The obvious example is local gameplay vs. online multiplayer. Since the mid 90s videogame reviewers have (generally speaking) docked games heavily when they have limited/no online multiplayer experiences while not being particularly critical of games with limited/no single-player or local multiplayer experiences; and, being that few gamers ever actually play videogames online, it appears that online-multiplayer is actually not valued particularly heavily by the market on the whole.

Didn't the 360 outsell the PS3 in America this past week? Its cool to reach for the stars but really c'mon. Wii sold nearly as many Wii's in 08 as PS3 has sold in its entire lifetime.
