i think it'll be like the OP said, with link waking up and saying something like: "5 more minutes" or something similar. it IS the beginning of the game after all.
he's not gonna start the game and suddenly go: "eff you NAVI".
it would be soo awsome if the game had a navi joke, or a joke about being silent in previous games, that would be hilarious!
reminds me of the humor in Super Paper Mario, where the game made fun of the "I am error" thing from Zelda2, lol.
"Excuuuse me princess" should be his first few words.
He HAS spoken before. Real words and everything. First in Zelda II, then in Wind Waker.
