Why is everybody saying "Excuuuuuuuuuuuuse me, princess." like it was supposed to be funny? It's obviously referring to something. What is it?

What the heck? The show only had like 13 episodes! How could he say it that many times?!?!

For Pete's sake, only 4 of those matched the situation appropriately. Most times he was saying it just to say it.

I never watched that cartoon, but based on Links comments, Zelda sounds like a real bitch.
