im shocked to see MW2 sales that close considering the xbox version was said to out sell the ps3 version 2 to 1

4 of the top 5 console week ones of all time are owned by Xbox. Rather amazing.

 I think not. Blu-ray factor is starting to make difference. Everyone is perceiving more value on PS3 hardware .Even when the price was high the sales were not abysmal. Perhaps PS3 was the best selling videogame with a price so high. Anyone have this kind of data? Now that PS3 is affordable for many, has (will have) new incredible exclusives, the trend is to it continue to grow and grow...

Thats because M$ makes a lot of publicity but look the quality of games that are in top :s shame shame

The PS3 have withstood all the x360 had to throw at it over the last couple weeks. Mainly walmart/amazon deals and MW2 bundle.


Nevertheless good sales for x360 as those deals and bundles helped a lot.

It would be interesting to see x360 in the wake of all this in a couple of weeks.

Great numbers all round... Modern Warfare is the new GTA!

All of them are AAA rated games. Although one of them probably doesn't deserve that rating... They are all without a doubt good games for their respective genre.

WOW!!  Even with your price cuts, CODMW2 and Uncharted 2 the Wii still outsold the HD twins...  I dont know how Nintendo dose it...  WOW!!!

None of them deserves to be AAA.

It's sad how badly has console gaming fallen with 3 biggest launches being first person shooters and two pointless GTA games.
