It'll come out. It's taking too much time, but it'll come out. I would imagine that the 2 year project delay caused by FF XIV and the focus on Lightning Returns is hindering Nomura and his team from revealing or talking much, but hopefully next year is when we start to get an idea of when it'll release.

I don't know, Last Remnant PS3 wasn't cancelled either. But, then again this is Final fantasy.

As a PS3 Exclusive yes
Otherwise no and this what we all have to fear about and what is Nomura probably trying to protect.At least Team Nomura should be able to play the perfect version of Versus13 before it has to suffer.Its probably like killing his own child or taking away his legs and arms.
They teased us with the biggest thing ever and will probably bring the biggest letdown cause Wada rather followed the money(without big sales) than giving the TRUE Fanbase   ONE FUCKING good SquareEnix Game in the whole Gen.

TLR still made it on the 360 and PC. They might not have gotten it to run on PS3 well or something. It was silently canned. But we've heard recently that Versus is still in development and by Wada too, so I doubt it'll run into the same issue.

No they never got the PS3 versoin running well, but they never officially cancelled it.  They just dance around it when asked, but they haven't asked in a while.  But something is going on with the game behind the scenes.

Publishers can projects silently all the time. I don't think that means anything.

Final Fantasy vs XIII is in a similar situation and probably would have been canned already had it not have the name Final Fantasy in it.  Like you're right, but I question whether we'll get the Final Fantasy game that we were promised at this point.
