LBP has been quite successful, more than 2,5 million (19 k this week), and will have legs for a long time , at least until LBP2 comes out.

if you look at PS3 charts

COD4 & LBP are really the ONLY 2 games very high in comparison to number of weeks from release

so LBP DID have legs, better legs than anything not called COD on PS3

It's one year later not 2.

The game has become the 11th best selling PS3 game and will soon be the 10th. Not bad. But the game won't reach CoD type of number either. We can compare this game to Animal Crossing on the Wii, decent start with steady legs. The only difference is that AC:CF wasnt overhyped.

What are you talking about?

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune has MUCH better legs than either of those...

LBP was supposed to skyrocket the PS3 into a new audience. So far it seems to have mainly sold to the same people, it's a relative success as just any game. It's not a huge success as a blockbuster main title though, far from it.

Also, it's cute but not fun to play.
