they should let treyarch port it!
If they really be that stupid then its their fault if PS mote will fail horribly.
Wasnt a patent leaked some weeks ago from Sony which could have shown the Playstation-nunchuk ?
If Sony has no Idea to replace the DS3 properly then they must be pretty stupid. That would be the first disappointment from Sony this Gen for me. No they cant be that stupid.

The nunchuk, yes. A nunchuk-like device, no. Nyko was able to release their unauthorized copy, but they had to make it look and feel different from Nintendo's nunchuk. Sony can (and almost certainly will...) do the same. |
It all depends on a few variables, like how the motion system works. The levels of the patent Nintendo has is unknown, and the allowable permissions that may have been granted to Nyko to make it happen all have a say in the matter.
Basically, if Sony had a solution for this by now, we'd have heard about it. They have roughly 3-4 months of product testing to get their product out on time. I remain skeptical that Sony will provide a means for character movement for now.

They already showed off the alternate version using the DualShock 3 in the left hand and the wand in the right. There has been no indication that they intend to create another remote to go with the wand. |
Betcha a $10 WiiWare/Virtual Console game that Sony'll have a new controller to replace the DualShock.

This. My hands cramp anyway. There's no chance I'll hold a dual shock in one hand like that.

Will they call it the SingleShock? lol

Official name: WestolefromnintendoWhatashock.
I meant no indication from Sony. I think the DualShock# is one of the worst controls ever. I have a hard time moving my character where I want to due to the long reach for the analog stick. Honestly I'm annoyed that Nintendo copied them back with the classic controller as that causes my thumbs to hurt too. I've tried holding the remote in 1 hand, and I can only do it if I'm resting the other end of the remote on something (like my leg)

Damn it, you stole my comment. I still remember when people said the Wii couldn't handle the AI of the co-op partner (even though Quake in the 90s could run tons of quite smart bots at the same time) ...

Judging by the capacity of the AI in RE 5 you could run it on a 4-86...
If Wii can handle CoD4 so beautifully it can handle RE5.
Who cares?
Re5 is a disaster (and I even had more fun with Disaster: Day of Crisis than with a Re5).
I played the PC Version. Re5 has no atmosphere, no good story, no fun.
Re4 is one of the five best games I ever played. Re5 is a bad ripoff.
