Maybe people have started liking the PS3 in Japan.

Bad sales for 3d dot. PS3 doing good YoY, I wonder what December is going to look like.

Wii has had Wii fit plus, and Wii fit plus, as we've seen isn't a hardware pusher, its a game that people who own Wii fit are buying mostly

You do realize that the DS was supply constrained in Japan when NSMB DS launched (the DS lite had just released and was continuously sold out)

Yes I know, but what I wanted to say is that Wii is not performing well...maybe it's doing ok for not having system sellers in like 4 months (MH3) but not exactly what you would expect from the console leader which also had a price cut. Luckly there are bundles and games in december, but at this point I'm not sure they'll be enough to put the Wii in 1st position, over the ps3.

Just look at last years sales, and how the Wii ramped up at the holidays, and last year Wii had a weaker Japanese lineup in december than it will this year.

Hmm those PS3 games look like they are all 3rd party, you know, a non-Sony published game.  Something lacking in the wii department in japan.

Hmm those PS3 games look like they are all 3rd party, you know, a non-Sony published game.  Something lacking in the wii department in japan.

Well that's to be expected, Wii isn't exactly the system of choice for most third parties

PS3 numbers will not dip during November, it should maintain around 30k in Japan, but the Wii will rise as most expect for November and first week of December. Then it is all PS3.
