Forums - Nintendo - Symphonia: Dawn of the New World is 100% doomed in Europe

I´m not familiar with the popularity (or lack of) of the Tales franchise in Europe....regardless of NSMB, wouldn´t this game be "doomed" anyway?...or not?

Regardless of release date, the game wouldnt have done too well anyhow, now that everyone knows how annoying the main char is.

I'd try to defend this with the idea that, like the film industry, someone at Namco had the 'bright' idea to counter-program the Mario juggernaut w/ an RPG (think opening a RomCom against the latest action blockbuster) but, yeah, I'm not really sure that strategy can actually work in the video game sphere where games are 4-5x as expensive as a movie ticket and have a much narrower audience.

Such a pity.

I'll be getting both regardless. Good thing I picked up more shifts at the school where I work, I didn't think the extra cash would come in handy so soon.

domed

... well... I will buy it, if that helps.

I LOVE ICELAND!

Oh my god. This just in. Checked the local retailer again, and Muramasa (which was also supposed to launch the 13th) is now also launching the 20th. Why the hell do they want these games to fail? :S
