So now sony fanboys are dipping into ps1/ps2's profibility to make ps3's hemorrhaging okay? In a 360 forum? On a topic that has nothing to do with ps1 or ps2 or ps3's profibility? WTF is wrong with some of you?

true.. not trolling.. although having a gazillion threads about it becomes tiresome. 

 

The truth can be used to troll if it's repeated enough times. You basically admitted it. If I mentioned that the PS3 is in third place or the 360 had a high failure rate or that the Wii's library wasn't rated as well as the HD consoles, it would be trolling. Whether it's true or not.

From the start, you meant to stir people up with this thread. You and I both know this. You called others ignorant in the thread title alone, and you twisted the PS3 outselling the 360 into a big negative for Sony. Your bias shows a lot, and you have to take pot shots at me to make up for the fact that you're doing nothing but trolling. I don't often take things personal, but when you try to muck up Vgchartz (one of the greatest freakin' sites in the world) with such garbage, I have to object.

You knew what you were trying to do. You may be trolling, but you're not dumb. Just admit your intentions and maybe I'll get off your back (and everyone can see this thread for what it truly is).

The only person truly trolling in this thread is you. My thread was in a direct response to the tons of ridiculous threads talking about Microsoft being desperate and making a price drop on the Arcade, or moneyhatting these deals etc, etc. Those threads were all entirely inaccurate and I corrected them easily with all my perfectly legitimate points. If you are so mad to hear how bad Sony is really doing despite improved hardware sales then I don't know what to tell you. The simple fact is that Sony as a company is doing terribly and Microsoft has never done poorly as a company...

Ahh, the classic "those guys did it, so I can't be blamed for sinking to their level." You never disappoint me. Look, people of all console allegiances troll and make stupid comments. That's true. But by responding to them in similar fashion, you're no better than them. In fact, you're worse for sacrificing your integrity just to combat them. Your points were fine until you had to trash on Sony, claiming that Microsoft could put a dagger in Sony any time they wanted (really, why haven't they done it already then?), and that Sony is drowing in losses. One's entirely opinion, and while the other is factual, it's trolling. You know it is. I'm not mad at all at Sony's performance, I'm mad to see you make such a terrible thread when you're much better than that. We're talking about videogames here, so it's Sony Computer Entertainment versus Microsoft Game Studios. Both have lost billions.

I remember many threads about RROD, the $1bn write off, the originasl xbox losses... why is it taboo when its sony?

some people find business issues interesting... imagine that.

I gotta say Kowenicki, I've tried to get along with you at least half a dozen times, but it's stuff like this that makes it hard. I don't mind the factual arguing, but let's not pretend that you wouldn't flip out if someone posted a thread like this for the 360 (albeit with an alternate topic with equal trolling value).

Okay then, my mistake.

I guess that since Microsoft as a whole makes more money than Nintendo, they could kick their ass in the videogame department any time they wanted, and The Big N is at their mercy.

Saying something factual is never inherently trolling. Saying the PS3 is in third or the 360 has the most hardware problems is not trolling. Saying these things when it is off topic or in a way to try and annoy is trolling. This thread is fine other than the slightly flamebaity title. It is biased to fit Madkiller's views, sure, but it isn't trolling.  Now quit arguing about it.

So...while I think you're a great mod and all, you don't think there's something wrong with lines like "Sony is drowning in losses?"
