And I saw this treasure trove of video game goodness. Old skool, the way I like it.

I asked one of the managers how much to take all of the games off his hands. He went in the back with the box of games and came back and told me the price. I thought about it - and looked through the box. Oh yeah.

So I told the cashier the price - she was like 'You can't be serious.' So I found the manager and he was like 'That's what I said.'

She rang me up and I came home and looked through it.

Title after title I had wanted but too lazy to buy off eBay or half.com

The main one I wanted was Secret of Mana. I about flipped when I saw it.

Guess how much I paid for the lot.

That's a pretty sick line-up of old-school games in one bunch! Since you make it seem like they were a huge steal (and they were even if you spend over a hundred for them!), I'm gonna say you payed about $20 for the lot.

well I see banjo was 3, if your goodwill is the non annoying variety games are still all 3 a pop, so at cost would have been 120 dollars or so, I'd say about 50?

Haha. I have wanted Pro Wrestling, Ikari Warriors, Ninja Gaiden, Metroid and Super Metroid for a while.

I paid more than $20 for it - though I did score a lot like that - but with the NES, two controllers and the light gun for $20 in Santa Fe, New Mexico a couple years ago.
