LOL! Funny... everytime I ask for links I admit in a few dumb posters predicting high sales but the people I ask for links claim it was the majority saying it. People can't even admit there were crazies on their side... shame.

Forza 2 is at 4million according to VGChartz, but like 1.5-2million are bundle sales, so there is a big uncertainty how the game can sell by itself

still, 2.5-3million seem possible to me right now and it might beat that if it has good legs or is bundled as heavily as it's predecessor


a sales comparison with GT would be like GTA vs Saints Row (hehe, I wanted to original ^^) though and even GT5p might be a bit too high a hurdle to jump

Yes there are crazies on every side, but I don't think 'many' (and I actually doubt any) predicted something so stupid. I mean there is crazy and then there is crazzy.

Hell I'll make a prediction here.

I'll be using shipments since GT5:P is available for download and it's shipment+DL numbers are readily available from their site.

GT5:P will end up at 4.2-4.5 million shipped/downloaded by the end of the generation.

FM3 will end up at 2.7-3.3 million shipped by the end of the generation.

Keep in mind this is assuming they don't bundle the shit out of FM3.

Just search the 1000 Forza vs Gt threads.

Some used the whole GT5p only sold 4 GT5 wont sale much more, other got hung up on the userbase not enough PS3 blahh balhh Forza3 is magic will sale 7 million.


This forum needs a search, seriously is there one that i can't find.

I think Forza 3 will be heavily bundled, and discounted to get it to 4 million. After Turn 10's comments and the excitement regarding GT5, I doubt MS would let it sell any less.

By the way, GT5P is a great game. I just got re-addicted to it.
