The worst thing in my opinion would be the horribly small text all games of this gen seems to have. I have a fairly big TV, and I still can't read it. Is it really that hard to make it a little bigger?

- Gaming journalists thinking they're geniuses and/or not nerds(IGN).

- DLC that could've been free.

- Patches that should've been addressed before the game released.

- WRPGs that pretend to be innovative because they have mass appeal now.

- Bad multi-platform ports.

- Unnecessary trash talking (e-thugging) on online games.

- Everyone thinking their opinion is absolute (me included sometimes).

- Lack of local multiplayer

- 6 hour games for $59.99

- The deluge of FPS games.

Really can't say it better myself. 

I might also add, a thing thats worse than PC 10 years ago, DLC used to be free and more or less a thank you for buying their game, and the lack of mods despite having the ability to handle them.

DLC, but there's to side to this it can either be seen as A) pre-longing the game, or B) ripping you with content that could've been in the game

voice chat, though this can be pleasent when with friends, it can a pain when you find some wanna be trash talking gamers or odd groups of people(when the first MW was out my friend went against this KKK group...those bastards)

1) The terrible quality of gaming "journalism" nowadays (basically every reviewer is a fanboy by now)

2) Lack of local multiplayer on the HD consoles (seriously, why can the Wii handle 4-player splitscreen but the HD consoles can not?)

3) DLC (can be cool, but most DLC is already finished before the game is out, now that's screwing your customers)

I hate the above things with a passion. To be honest, it makes this generation the worst of all for me.
