Finally after a while Wii has topped:

 

55,000,000

 

Now onto its next milestone, roll on 60 million!  Will happen sometime around 19th December or maybe earlier..  What are your thoughts? Could it do more, less or just that?

 

 

P.S Considering it doesn’t display 55 million on the site ( only just ), we have this weeks sales yet to be added, and Wii needs at least 10,000 to make it, but I can bet my house that Wii will sell over 10,000 between  24th - 31st October.

I thought it could just outdo 60 million late December, considering new super mario bros wii will be huge, plus the Christmas boost.

I'm thinking mid December for 60million. By Jan. 1 2010 it will probably top NES.



Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:


If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.

I say it will top the NES about 2 weeks before Christmas. Maybe more. Expecting holiday sales to be huge this year. Especially in a non supply constrained December.
