Forums - General Discussion - Favorite films of 2009

1. Star Trek. (my best movie for 2009 so far)
2. Shinjuku Incident. (Jacky Chan's best performance since Police Story 5)
3. Slumdog Millionaire. (my former best movie for 2009)
4. Taken.
5. Fast & Furious.
6. Harry Potter 6 the Half Blood Prince.
7. Ice Age 3 Dawn of the Dinosaurs.
8. G.I. Joe Rise of the Cobra.
9. Transformer 2 Revenge of the Fallen.

That's all the movie I've watched on theaters this year...

Around the Network

Gran Torino was great

So was Star Trek, Ponyo and Inglorious Basterds.

My favorites of the year:

Inglorious Basterds
District 9
Paranormal Activity
Star Trek
The Watchmen

Roughly in order. IB was fan-freaking-tastic. I rarely watch movies at the theater twice, and IB was one of those movies. Would watch D9, ZL and PA again too.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

The Great:
Inglorious Basterds *
The Hangover
District 9

The Good:
I Love You Man
Paranormal Activity

The Bad:
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
Halloween 2
Fast and Furious
X Men Origins Wolverine

The awful:
Transformers 2

Please Watch/Share this video so it gets shown in Hollywood.

Oh yes!

Taken was brilliant.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Around the Network

Ive seen SO many movies this year. My top of 2009 would be, in no particular order:

An Education
Drag me to Hell
Julie and Julia
District 9
Funny People

the top movies I only SAW this year would be:

Vicki Christina Barcelona

I see every single mainstream/arthouse/foreign movie that comes out at the movies and at the Movie club at Uni! But I can't think of any when I need to!

This year has been poor for cinema. All though a couple of the horror flicks look promising.

No one mentioned 500 Days of Summer?

Cause not many of them are wussies like you and me... ;)  Loved that movie.. my girlfriend kept thinking that I wanted to break up with her.. xD

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

Haven't seen many movies this year but I did see Ponyo. UP was released here about 2 weeks ago. It's probably the only movie that I think can take Ponyo's place because I loved Ponyo...
