I just call it the "Apple Tax" I really see no appeal in Mac's, unless it's for someone who has tons of money and nothing to spend it on.

Well of course theres no way I've seen every single mac commercial so yeah I am partly picking and choosing. But for the most part their main points in their commercials are bad things about PC's, not good things about macs.

hahaha Apple Tax! I like that. Good line.
I get tired of the whole "Apple is more expensive than PC's". People are usually comparing them to crappy E-machines out of wall-mart.
I picked a Sony computer off of Amazon. I consider Apple computers to have better components than Sony, but Sony is one the highest quality PC manufacturers (therefore more expensive than e-machines and Dells).

As you can see, for 2000$ they are very comparible. The Sony has 2GB more RAM, BlueRay and a touchscreen. The Mac has a bigger screen and a much better video card.
Like I said before, these are just two computers I found to compare. I didn't find any Mac that was on sale or some website that sells them for really cheap.
Simply put, Mac does not produce cheap computers. That is why people think they are more expensive than PC. However, find a PC that matches a Mac in quality of parts and power, and the Mac is usually slightly cheaper.

Sony is a Mac-Wannabe. Also, Mac's are more expensive than PC variants. A quick search on NewEgg found this:

If you wanted to add in a monitor, speakers, mouse, and keyboard which will come at around $400 for very high quality components, it will be $800 cheaper and superior in every aspect of the $2200 Core i7 iMac

Just because something is cheap does not mean it's crappy. No matter what Mac you choose, someone will be able to build a PC with higher specs for cheaper. Also, I don't think I've ever heard someone say that Sony has the highest quality PC's either, that caught me off guard. You argument looses merit when you have to choose a specific brand of PC in order to make the cost go up. You buy most of the internals of a Sony computer elsewhere and build what is basically a Sony computer on your own.
About the whole Macs are easier to use bit.
Of course they are easy to use. To someone who has never used Windows, they are idiot proof.
Apple's crappy commercials will never stop. There will always be those who believe them. Hell, I haven't had a PC crash in YEARS, and I push the hell out of it.
Viruses, well, Apple better hope they don't gain TOO much market share, or they'll soon have to tone down that statement. I haven't gotten infected in years either.

You're not paying for speed, you're paying for style. iPods are the same way. I use a Mac Pro for photo editing in my photography class, and their "Apple CInema" displays are freaking sexy! But...they're like $800.
