I agree the most with these Pros and Cons. I had the Limited Edition Fable II because i was such a huge fan of Fable I, i loved it, and had alot of replay value with it for about 3 years, so i had high hopes for Fable II, but man what a let down, poor execution of gameplay, boring, and linear, there was no choice to be made as the first game, and the dog was an annoyance than a faithful companion - limited interaction with it also. Slow buggy menus, mindless NPC's, and glitchy gameplay/graphics. In the clothing screen for the female hero, she's tilting to one side, like hunched over sideways...so annoying. Limited interaction with others, and a boring/buggy expression wheel. My biggest let down EVER in a videogame, and a series i want now to die off. If i play Fable III, it'll be someone else's and mainly for the acheivements, but i'm going into the 3rd with no enthusiasm, maybe then...the game will be decent.

I'm pretty sure the game is designed for everyone who is older than 16 :)

110% (yes...one hundered and ten percent) AGREED!!!!! I mean WTF with the Magic?! This basic downgraded version from the first game where i could group my skill tree, combine diferent spells, and had twice as much is what they offer in the second game where things are supposed to get bigger and better (and more badass if your Cliffy B)?! Jeez, i could complain about this title for days. I had no fun playing, but i had already put the disc in my tray, and gotten an acheivement, and i couldn't just stop until i got 1000/1000, it only took 3 more days, and i sold that game on eBay for $50, i didn't care about the loss of money from the Limited Edition, i just needed that game as far away from me as possible before i broke the CD.

Only played Fable I, but I see my views are similar to many about Fable II, so I'll go for it:

After initial excitement wore off (2-3 hours) my perceptions changed completely. It's not challenging at all and that killed it for me. It's linear with little variety in certain departments like for instance enemy models. It's the small things that pissed me off.

I do think it was a masterpiece in certain respects, but not really a gamer's game imho. The locales were unbelievably detailed, but there's no feeling of exploration due to the on-rails esque experience.

SUCH potential, but sadly it didn't deliver.
