They better fucking fix the PS3 version for the western release. I've been looking forward to this game for a long time. If SEGA were smart they'd know the PS3 is where the majority of its audience is at.

I can't believe people are still downplaying this game.

So what's the difference between the 360 and the PS3 versions then? A 38/40 is a very good score, what exactly differentiated the two versions?

Framerate and graphics are apparently far superior on the 360 version.

I'm not one to usually care about these things, but the 360 version runs quite a bit better (smoother framerate) and has slightly sharper graphics. The framerate is a big deal for action games. Like I said in the Bayonetta Famitsu thread, there's a demo out there for anyone who can be bothered and wants to try out the core game mechanics.

Still, this game was already a buy for me based on my time with the demo.

I didn't realize the differences were so significant.

You pretty much dead on. Before 2008, Famitsu had given out 6 perfect scores. In 2008 and 2009, Famitsu has given out 6 perfect scores. They definitely aren't rating games as harshly as before.

seriously, how many perfect scores are famitsy going to hand out this gen? And to a 3D brawler?

Famitsus perfect scores used to mean something, only a select few games had them, and now it seems they are handed out left and right.

Lmao at OP if he genuinely thinks this will give the 360 a hardware boost.

Neither deserve such high scores in all likelihood; Famitsu's 40/40 is going down the drain.
