You didn't order the new versions from Capcom? After the IGN-watermark, they offered owners the chance to get one of three new covers for free. They ultimately wound up sending all three. They're all pretty nice: one's the same cover, sans watermark, another the PS2's cover, and the third, the one that I picked, is a unique bit of artwork. The latter two had the artwork continue down the spine, so my copy's spine is no longer white. I'm cool with that.

But still, it's just the art, right? Not the box itself that's a different color.

So, the plot thickens. We still don't know the truth behind the alternately colored Okami game case...

In the UK (at least) there was a special boxart released for certain stores. Wii version.

Maybe noname imported his copy from the UK for whatever reason... or the rereleased boxart has a different color spine than the standard white.
