The main storyline was good and interesting, also action element was done very well.

On the not so good side we have:
- secondary quests - which were plain boring and repetitive
- boring secondary characters with no impact on storyline - one sidequest per character is not how it should be done
- paper thin crew - for most crew member it was one talk and after that they were back to one lines or same dialogues forever.

Played it for about three hours didn't like it enough to finish it story just wasn't that interesting to me. To me this game is more of a 3rd person shooter then an RPG even though it has RPG elements and as a third person shooter its just average their a a lot better ones available. Too much talking in this game also and I usually enjoy good voice acting. I also think that Jade Empire is very overrated and I actually beat that game. I might finish it when I'm bored but I'm currently busy playing two games that I like a lot more Bioshock and Fable 2.

+ Some of the best character interactions in a game, where you actually build up relationships with the crew
+ Built an amazing and original setting/universe

- Far too short for an RPG, especially one from Bioware
- Shooting was poorly implemented
- Glitches
- Long elevator rides
- Feels a bit of a step down from KoToR

Pros:

+ The galaxy exploration system is by far the best RPG system I've ever seen, it even tops KOTOR's
+ The character models are amongst the best i've ever seen, and the dialogue of the game is very rich
+ One of the best WRPG stories i've ever seen
+ The Quick spell and weapon access system is really useful and gives you tons of battle options

Cons:

- The battle system per se has fewer RPG elements than Shooter elements
- Most of the game is too easy.
- Some frame-rate hiccups in some heated battles with a lot of enemies, especially on the
moon Cerberus base.

I really wish I could give this game the 9 I think it deserves because it's really such a great experience with a great story and an amazing universe. However, as a game it fails. It would have made a better movie. It has way too many graphical glitches including lots of pop in, getting stuck in environments, and a frame rate that is perhaps the shittiest I've ever seen in any game. It slows to a crawl sometimes when no action is going on and your just walking! Side missions are bland, copy and paste, lifeless and boring. Driving missions are tedious, control bad and just not fun. Combat doesn't fare much better. It's slow, clunky, and has terrible aiming controls and I don't ever use powers in the game because they are such a pain in the ass to use. You should be able to hotkey powers or something. The system in place is just too clunky. And why is the grenade button set to the select button? Also, after playing the games a couple of times I realized that selecting different things to say has the same response which is a little lazy. Sometimes I'll pick the mean thing to say and he says the same exact things as the nice one. It really made me think my decisions didn't have anywhere near as much impact as it implies. That being said, ME 2 is one of my most wanted games. It really looks like they've worked hard to make the sequel a good game and not just a rich universe wasted on bad presentation and design. I really hope when the sequel comes out it can go along with all of my other favorite games of this gen where it belongs.
