I didn't like it too, and, trolls aside, user ratings for this one are lower than the usual (except for the PS3 at metacritic, which looks quite on par as other games).

The last GREAT NFS game was NFS: Hot pursuit 2. (And when was that released? like 2002?)

Most wanted and Undercover were good, but nothing touches Hot pursuit 2.

But only on the PS2. The Xbox/GC versions were done by a different developer and were not nearly as much fun.

Have you tried Mario Kart Wii? It's just like that except you can't even race 20 feet with a pow block or AI zooming out of nowhere and knocking you off stage when you're in first all the time. I'm glad we agree that NFS: Shift sucks. I just hate the concept of always doing good then someone stupid ruins all your work.

wow worse than pro street? i was thinking about picking this up but im not going to bother anymore. thanks for saving me $30. (i was going to buy it from a friend).

I mostly play RTS and Moba style games now adays as well as ALOT of benchmarking. I do play other games however such as the witcher 3 and Crysis 3, and recently Ashes of the Singularity. I played the demo, and I really wasn't sure about it, I think I'll just get Dirt 2 instead....

But next year, Criterion will be making NfS, which will be awesome again!

After playing the Demo the handling made me feel ill. Then I noticed that the car was automatically braking for me before corners! Checked the menu and there was turning and braking assist! What kind of game is this!?!

Turned that stuff off and it was still crap.
