Forums - Sony - EA Russia list Mass Effect 2 for PS3.

Common its EA, with the sales boost PS3 is getting, no way EA would miss out on getting this extra money.

If it was down to EA, the game would be multiplat from the first announcement, and there would be BILLBOARDS so people would know it was on PS3, so they could buy it.

What the exclusivity of ME2 depends on is whether Microsoft has enough influence to keep it exclusive.

I doubt this happens and if it does, I don't think it will sell all too well. People keep bring up "stand alone" sequels like Bioshock and FFXIII. You character and decisions from ME1 have a direct bearing on your ME2 experience. Any PS3 owners already have ME1 for 360 or PC, they'd have zero reason to opt for the PS3 version.

I think it would be pretty bad business to limit ME2 to the 2 million people who bought ME1. The save file thing is meant to be a bonus for people who own ME1, not a punishment/discouragement for those who don't.

They could probobly fit both games on a single bluray and still have 30 gigs left.

+1 and I am sooo 'tired' of this weak ass comment from all the people using the same arguement (ME 1 save file).  Who cares, what happens when someone picks up the game on pc for the first time and skips ME1?  So that arguement holds no water when it comes to exclusivity.
