You character and decisions from ME1 have a direct bearing on your ME2 experience. Any PS3 owners already have ME1 for 360 or PC, they'd have zero reason to opt for the PS3 version. |
I think it would be pretty bad business to limit ME2 to the 2 million people who bought ME1. The save file thing is meant to be a bonus for people who own ME1, not a punishment/discouragement for those who don't.
