+ Addicting gameplay, pretty good story line, VATS is really cool, and I love all the Item looting and exploring you can do.

- Its a glitchy game, 3rd person view is worthless.

I would like to give it a four.

I was promised a fun shooter rpg. What I got was a RPG with lackluster shooting.

MGS4 is still on top, this is awesome news!

OT: 9.4

Pro's - Amazing gameplay, VATS is ace, massive open world, quite a good story.

Con's - 3rd person view could have been better, some glitches that could be fixed, not enough variety with enemies.

I won't lie, I just didn't like this game.

Pros

• The story kept you interested longer than Oblivion so I played longer
• Very large world, cities are interesting
• Good atmosphere traveling through areas for the first time

Cons

• Balance was still an issue-- got to a point where I was just too powerful which happened in Oblivion too.  With Fallout 3 it at least took a while longer.
• Since I was so powerful, I just stopped caring about the story and had no motivation to continue
• Gun/weaponplay just isn't that good.  There are countless examples of other games doing it better and I don't understand how they continue to get away with such poor gameplay.
• Very large area, but every place in the wasteland feels exactly the same.
• Traveling to new areas is just boring.  Since everything looks the same you aren't seeing anything new and you're too powerful to actualyl care about enemies.
• Every time I had to have someone follow me they eventually got stuck and I had to abandon them
• Sneaking around people is retarded and shows off how poor that system is.
• same mutants copied all over the game-- yawn.
• V.A.T.S was just stupid.

Great game. The atmosphere feels depressing and thats how its supposed to feel because you live in a wasteland.

Great weapons, great story, great characters, good AI, lots of secrets. This game is one of the best I have played this gen.

1. BEST atmosphere a game may EVER have......I mean the game made me feel DEPRESSED & GLOOMY & SAD & HORRIBLE -- basically just like the citizens on those washington wastelands

2. VAT's -- nice refined system that was good

3. The general art style & cool menu's

4. Decisions you can make like nuking a town

1. GLITCHES in the PS3 edition....OMG it used to crash/stop everytime someone sent me a message!

2. Its atmosphere.....yes one of its pro's is a con too, it made me NOT want to play the damn game.....everytime I played it I felt bad & depressed, so I stopped wanting to play it

3. Story......I disliked the story, seemed very dull, no characters really stuck out

4. Graphics -- not great at all

5. Replayability + World = THIN & bad, I mean compared to oblivion it sucked imo

Conclusion:

Maybe I', too engrossed in Final Fantasy & Medievel/SciFi JRPG's to appreciate fallout 3, but well thats me & that 7/10 was my score!

9.8 for the second best game this gen.
