So Eyepet and GT5 are out of picture for this holiday. There are no exclusive games releases past November 1 except for FFX in Japan.
It is official, Sony will lose out this holiday again.
what the hell are they thinking?

This (is what I was going to say).
I don't know about the wisdom of keeping this game off shelves for the holidays... Seems like the work of the same person who decided to wait until next year to release White Knight Chronicles rather than be the ONLY traditional jrpg on PS3 outside Japan in all of 2009. My only explanation is that Sony is planning to invent its own holiday in mid-march and wants to make sure it has a good lineup.
On the subject of Trine, the delays for that game have been ridiculous! How can something pass QA testing in all the languages of the EU but take more than a month longer to pass testing just in english for the american market..? It's a great game, though -- and the game completely changes when you play it in cooperative mode, even though the levels and story are the same. I actually managed to convince a european gentleman to buy the game for me on my fake EU account. I just knew it was going to take them forever to release it in the US, as soon as I saw it had only been released in the EU. Some kind of strange intuition. And let that be a lesson, children: If you're obsessed enough with something, nothing can stop you from purchasing it, no matter what your region.*
*mainly true for downloadable games.

LOL ! well with all the titles coming out there you would think that ! XD
probably a good thing.
All these delays will help them:
1 ensure enough consoles in stores for Holiday season - demand is already high, imagine December. perhaps they need a manufacturing buffer
2 ensure a kick at the end of the financial year. they need to sell 13mil this year.

Why is that? Are Uncharted 2, Ratchet & Clank and Demon's Souls suddenly not worth a damn? The Japanese release of Final Fantasy XIII EXCLUSIVELY on the PS3 is irrelevant now? I swear people, some of you are NEVER satisfied... |
Are you sure that you have read my post? I said PAST NOVEMBER 1st.
All The games which you listed are really good. but all of them are getting released in October.
Hmm, my only concern is whether or not the game will recieve more development time now, so europeans will be buying a lesser version. I really hope that is not the case, but if it's just to release it alongside the wand with the controls already in the game, then I'm fine
damn i wanted to get this, is this for EU also?
...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...
PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk
really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...
Seems like it's not officially delayed for Eu... if my job pays well enough, I may just import...

Geez you think you have it bad? US PSstore has so much damn more content than the european store. And a lot of our content we get later than the US Its pathetic |
That's not really my point. With SCEA, SCEE, and SCEJ all operating more or less independently, it seems to be ridiculously hard to swing a worldwide release (for example, three approval processes for a PSN game vs. just one for an XBLA one). SCEA is no SCEJ, but I realize SCEE shafts you guys a lot, so you have my heartfelt sympathy.
That said, shush your mouth and give me Trine, you stingy European.
