I was looking at other websites with threads and when it comes to Heavy Rain and the sexual content portrayed in the game PS3 only lovers eat it up (especially learning of the scenarios in the game), but when Mass Effect 2 or even one features sexual interaction (even though you don't see anything) they bash the game to hell despite its amazing quality. I mean people hardly complained about it in GTA and that game was far more graphic with sound effects. Why the bias?

I really dont see why people are up in arms over sex in video games, I mean EVERY other media and art form in the universe uses sex at some point, but when it comes to games people throw a fit...

umm...what? on the forums i haven't seen any bashing of either game for sexual themes. hell, if anything people love it for it. yeah you're right, mass effect got some bad press in the mass media but it all game from the same groups that bash any/every video game with adult themes.

I've seen it in Gametrailers.com before and here a couple times. Thats why I was wondering.

Gamers bashing a game for sexual contenet just doesn't sound right. There are always a few purists who bash anything sexual though and you may be mistaking them for "ps3 fanboys"

I thought this was going to be about the ridiculous claims that the uninformed general press makes. I don't recall any Sony fans sticking up for the press or taking shots at Mass Effect. This topic seems like flamebait.

its ridiculous, sex is everywhere! you will find it reading a bog standard newspaper or magazine or a book that any age can buy, its on TV programs not just after the water shed but in the day, as long as the age ratings for these games are right then its fine by me.

cause people have nothing else to rat on about these games. In every other way they are very good
