Shitty service. It was MS trying to put LIVE on PCs, with the charge and all, and it just ended up failinig more spectacularly than almost any other software push. It's still god awful at least they dont want payment anymore.

In all seriousness, what is with the hate for that service? I mean, I find it kind of good that xbox 360 and PC games share an achievements base. Also, the live features work as you can talk to your friends playing on the console. I have used it on Fallout 3, DOW 2, Section 8 and Batman: AA and have not seen any detriment; am I missing something?
