If the battery isn't removable... how will you shut it off when it freezes? Will it have a hardware embedded shutdown button combo like the iPod does?

In Uk they lowered the Price to 199 Pounds (217 Euro)
No the PS3 is not responsible for if/when the Go flops. From what I observe, Sony is trying to tap into the market that Apple is dominating with the I-pod and I-phone. I'm not sure that the Go is going to be attractive to that group.
For me personally, I purchased a PSP 3000 a few months ago. After they stated there would be no media drive it was an easy decision. I don't mind downloading some games. But, I want the option of having a physical disc to sell or let some one borrow. Particularly if I am going to be shelling out full price for a game.
the PS3 has nothing to do with the psp go floping.
its the price point of the go 249 dollars is a lot of money.
people are not ready for a gameing hand held that u have to down load all the games.
sony said that down loading games is the future i hope this psp go pet project
makes them think twice about game down loads with the ps4
VITA 32 GIG CARD.250 GIG SLIM & 160 GIG PHAT PS3
sony made it flop nothing else
I mean
betamax
mini disc
just a few mistakes. ps1 and ps3 hit it on the head other stuff they made did not, simple.
But they had some success too like Walkman, DVD, Bluray (will be it has already a slightly higher attach rate then DVD even if it wont reach the same number of housholds due to distribution via Internet its the future of physical media). ANd they had some other inventions on TV which where all good.
The PSP GO will be a flop in terms of success on the market. But its maybe just a test for future consoles and Sony is trying to gain experience.
who said PSP GO flopped, what makes u think so, poor sales @ launch?, it can pick up pace slowly and emerge as a market leader

I think Sony's intentions for thr PSP Go were to increase digital sales, which was a success for them. as for the PS3 hurting it's sales it could be possible, I mean you walk into you nearest electrionics store thinking about buying a PSP Go and then realize for $50 more you can get a PS3(the best console in my opinion)
I'm getting a lot of laughs out of the irony of some of these posts. Anything negative about the Go is quickly accused of being posted by a MS, or Nintendo fanboy. However, in rebuttal we get these self-righteous "voice of reason" posts from people whose signatures are loaded with PS3 advertisements. Fanboys are fanboys guys.
I find it rather irritating how Sony seems determined to null out the little success they have had over the past few months due to the PS3 price drop by releasing another steeply priced product. I'm starting to get concerned with the amount of debt they are stacking up with poor timing, and choices in their various markets. It's not like the controversy and hate involving DRM, and this recession have quietly gone under the radar. It's really beginning to look more and more like Sony is out of touch with consumers, and current events. Some of you guys are commenting about them learning from these stupid decisions with the "PS4", but if they keep hemorrhaging money from system production costs, and bad decisions it will be 2020 before they will be able to afford another system launch. I guess we better start buying Vitamin water, and map out an aerobic training regime for our PS3s. :)
Rather then go on about the price which has been discussed in detail, I'd rather bring up something else that bugged me. I understand they are trying to tap into the Iphone/Ipod market but with only 16 GBs of memory it isn't a very attractive investment. I understand you can use memory sticks but even the most organized people have an easy time losing, but a hard time keeping track of those little things. Audiophiles like myself who go with FLAC quality, combined with videos, and games will eat that memory quickly. I imagine another whole crop of new possible problems just pondering what will happen when the unavoidable memory upgrades start becoming necessary.
