i just heard from a friend that after sony's big guns come out next year (gow, gt, heavy rain) they will cease production of software. i guess microsoft will get that 10 mil lead now. of course, this guy was wearing a shirt that says "i want to have a threesome with bill gates and master chief", but you never know.

Natal will help sell a lot of 360s if it was free and included with the console. Otherwise, it'll depend how much extra they charge. I'm not ready to pay more than 50 for this add-on.

If Natal and Halo Reach are launched next Sept, 360 will top the charts...

People keep forgetting the fact that Sony was able to cut prices on the PS3 because of the new chipset...M$ STILL has to launch it's newer chipset, and will be able to reduce prices even further, so you couple those coming cuts, with Natal and Reach, and you've got big sales for the 360 in 2010.

Yes, they were able to save some money - but the PS3 is still losing money for Sony at $399 a pop - think about the amount of mana it is using at $299?

Yeah...I didn't say they aren't losing money on every console...but if they can sell 2-3 more games because of it...they balance it out with everything else.  The real test this holiday will be game sales...and we will know come March, after everybody has reported.

Here's some VG$ which it's apparent is all you were after by creating this thread to make this ridiculous prediction.

Sony fanboys are behind the Slim a little too hard, and 360 fanboys are behind Natal a little too hard. I think both sides (aside from the practical-yet-still-fanboys) will be a little disappointed.
