saw the trailer on IGN, the voices are great, I always found the Final Fantasy games to have the best dubbed voices(2nd wold be the tales games)

It's funny to see how over here the English VA for FFXIII is generally well praised whilst when I go to a regular FF XIII site, it's all about complaints and rants about how crappy the english VAs are. The most insulted voice si the new female character (one with tatoos)

Now that you mention it, they do sound similar.  The difference is that FFXIII's cutscenes have good lipsyncing and animation.  Reimi's VA was held back by creepy cutscene animation.

My theory is that a lot of those rants on the FFXIII site are coming from people who think FF died when FFVII,  VIII, IX, X, XI, or XII were released.  We try to based our opinions of games on their own merits instead of saying a series died at some point.

Terrible attitude........FF is not dead.....you need to stop being arrogant & appreciate the games, if you (you meaning those people you are saying wo say that, not YOU riachu!!) were givent he opportunity to make one, trust me it would be no worse than you think those FF's were
