Interesting predictions. Though I, along with most of the group agree that their Wii Fit expectations are too high for the holiday season. I've said it before in other threads, and koffieboon said it here, I believe the supply of the Balance Boards will limit sales of the 'game'.

Numbers are like people. Torture them enough and you can get them to say anything you want.

Somehow, I question those Wii Fit numbers if those are from Dec 1-31st....

Other than that, seemingly decent. Really low/bad numbers for Dynasty Warriors 5.

Well Dynasty Warriors 5 sold under a million on PS2. So this. (Which despite the japanese numbering i believe his Dynasty Warriors 6 in the US) might be expected to underperform because of this. Still it'd be like... a 200K dropoff in japan. Though, with the PS3's lower user base... it's possible... i mean Gundum Musou underperformed.

M: 1,500,000+

That would certainly push hardware!

I've said for a while now that Wii Fit will be their next huge game. It'll move some hardware units for sure, but I think a lot of those casual 'gamers' they brought in will now finally buy their 2nd game.

Hmm, well they expect Dynasty Warriors to do better than Gundam Musou. I don't think it pass HSG5 up. If anything, I expect HSG5 sales to boosted this week and next week.

I am very surprised to see such high predictions for Wii Fit. Everyone seems to think it will be a huge hit with the casual gamer crowd. But Wii Fit isn't a game. It is an exercise product. And as an exercise product, it has to compete with countless exercise videos, gym memberships, group yoga classes, etc. Wii Fit might appeal to the casual gamers who are also interested in fitness, but only the ones who don't already get their fitness fix from exercise videos / classes / gym memberships / etc. I don't think that is a very large group.

I think they are right on. Wii Fit is going to be a huge hit just as our good 'ol John Lucas says.

They need to raise those numbers a little bit.
