I´m talking all software. I predict something like this for Japan in 2009:

1. Dragon Quest IX  4-4,5 million

2. Pokemon HG/SS   3-4 million

3. Tomodachi Collection  2 + million

I´m pretty certain that those three will take the top three spots now. The rest of the field under them consists of FF13, Wii Sports Resort, New Super Mario Bros Wii, Wii Fit + and both Monster Hunters. A few of these could threaten Tomodachi but I just don´t see it with the monsterlegs the game is having.

Wii Sports Resort and Wii Fit + will have/is having great legs but not to the level of Tomodachi. New Super Mario Bros Wii is getting released too late in the year to reach 2 million (or could it possibly do it?) and I don´t see FF13 reaching 2 million this year, it may do it next year but it  is usually very frontloaded so it may not do it even then. I think FF13 will end up around 1,5-2 million.

Most likely WSR, WF+, FF13 and NSMBW is going to battle it out and fight for the positions 4-7.

If NSMBWii is anything like the DS version, it will beat tomodachi.

I pray for a localization.

Well it can be tough for FF13 to reach that goal since the userbase for PS3 is quite low and Famitsu which usually are quite good in their predictions don´t think it will reach 2 million. We´ll just have to wait and see.

its releasing in dec 17 of course. with 2 more weeks it would reach 2 million ;).

if not will do it and go from  2 milllion to -->4million in a blink in march when releases west side.
