The jackaxe actually named good games that came out after Galaxy. He listed Conduit, MadWorld, and Little King's Story. He contradicted himself. He's like "Nothing good came out, but then it did, and it didn't sell, so it didn't count." He would've been better off calling a wambulance than wasting his time writing that horrible argument.

If he's so retro and cool, he should pull his head out of his ass and play BIT.TRIP BEAT. And Wii Sports Resort is basically the new Pilotwings.

And how in the hell is he bitching and moaning about the Virtual Console? It has more games than XBLA or PSN, and more classic consoles represented.

Klonoa's pretty much a PS1 game with Wii visuals.

Thanks for reminding of The Munchables though.  Namco Bandai can release a good platformer when it wants to.

I'd dispute this statement. The HD consoles have way better racing, action/adventure and sports games. I'll give Wii platformers and puzzle/strategy games. And oh yeah wii wins in party games by 1,000x.

 

I wouldn't give the wii platformers, it only has 1 good AAA platformer, and thats Mario galaxy, the rest are ok to mediocore (dont even bring up Paper mario "3") whilst the PS3 has several good platformers, from Little big planet, to Ratchet and clank, and Uncharted, and even Tomb raider..

i didnt know an 8.9 for maramasa the demon blade a mediocre..

A fantastic PS1 game that nobody on the planet played.

I don't agree with a lot of it, but the man's entitled to his opinion. I just question IGN publishing something from a blog. Are their writer's too scared to write something like this themselves if this is the way that they feel?
