However, for Action, Adventure, Platformer, Puzzle, Strategy, Sports, Racing Wii is the best for acceptable quality and variety. You are welcome to disagree, but I think the sales prove the interest people have in Wii games. |
See, what you did there... is more-or-less the exact same thing the writer of the article did.
Had an opinion.

And console bashing+Top Ten lists bring in the most clicks for enthusiast sites...
I need a new hobby.

| psrock said: What he fails to realize and most of you agreeing is Nintendo sells both hardware and software. And Nintendo have do more with the Wii than the gamecube. The wii did not alienate their base, it added a new market to it. Its just that some people who think they are hardcore, feel nintendo gives more to the casual market. But look at the big core Wii games, they all outsold PS3 exclusives. Nintendo's biggest problem for me this Gen is the fact unlike previous generation, they gave us a really weak system hardware wise. |
They all outsold both PS3, and 360 exclusives, combined.
Top 3 on Wii:
Mario Kart Wii: 17.44 million
SSBB: 8.63 million
Mario Galaxy: 8.12 million
xbox 360:
Halo 3: 10.17 million
Gears of War: 5.91 million
Gears 2 : 5.21 million
PS3:
MGS4: 4.22 million
Resistance: 3.62 million
Motorstorm: 3.49 million
Heck, MKWii alone has outsold Sony's top 6.

Sack him for writing on his blog? that's his opinion and he owns the Wii.

well can I say something, shockingly I actually agree with him right now
but change 2007 to 2008 & SSBB's release date & he's more accurate
but imo a proffessional videogame journalist shouldn't write such things.....yeah its on his blog, but does it give a good reputation to IGN?

I think you have the same problem that this guy has that you limit by what genre you play. Little King Story is one of the hardest games this gen and is harder than PS3/360 games just try to name one game that came out on the HD systems that even equals in the last two years.

Demon's Souls.
:)
Bet with Dr.A.Peter.Nintendo that Super Mario Galaxy 2 won't sell 15 million copies up to six months after it's release, the winner will get Avatar control for a week and signature control for a month.

I'm pretty sure IGN has a policy about openly bashing other consoles for no apparent reason other than the fact that you hate it in their articles. You can be critical, but not fanboyish liek this guy is being. But I think they have freedom to do whatever they want in their blogs.

There is no such thing as a "Proffessional videogame journalist" those are only a bunch of fanboys with paychecks.

I dunno, Matt Cassamassina, whether you love him or hate him, seems pretty professional.
