Nope
Even with the price cut and the holiday, I think it would be hard. The supply would have to be huge, but it's a small possibility. But I still think the supply could be a problem. I really don't think it will happen though.

Well at the release of NSMB, otherwise after that, no. |
I guess you weren't around here back then, but are you aware Wii sold over 1 million 5 weeks in a row in the 2008 holiday season?
199,99 + New Super Mario Bros. Wii + Wii Sports Resort + Wii Fit Plus = Possible at Christmas.
sabby_e17 said: 2 million? Hell no. 1 million? Very unlikely. |
LOL! Very unlikely? LOL!
It probably will during the holiday season with NSBWii game.
TO GOD BE THE GLORY
It will sell about 1.2 million more like.
Buying in 2015: Captain toad: treasure tracker,
mario maker
new 3ds
yoshi woolly world
zelda U
majora's mask 3d
Yes.
Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:
If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.
If the Wii sells more than 20 million in 2009 (as defined above) Arius Dion wins and gets to control Slimebeast's sig for 1 month.
YES!!
ok, the reasoning.
Last year the Wii was supply constrained. Not like previous years where it was impossible to find, but I'm sure that retailers shifted units around to make sure they had some stock each week.
This year, they will have more units then they know what to do with due to poor sales throughout the rest of the year (compared to last year). A $200 price cut, Wii Fit Plus, New Super Mario Bros and the holiday season all combined point toward better sales this year than last year which was $250, Wii Music, Animal Crossings and that was it.
while sales are down YoY, I believe that this holiday will see a healthy sales due to strong advertising, a good price, and good games coming out.
anyways, It would be cool to see it break 2m in 1 week
