I did... it will be on top of the PS3 next week... im almost sure of it.
PS3 without tov this week would have been around 225k I reckon, next week around 190k. |
I wonder what caused the boost, probably some people have just started doing their christmas shopping, but just a fraction amount of people, we will be seeing a lot of boost in late november due to NSMBwii and in December due to Christmas spirits.
|
if that's the case then Xbox 360 will dominate the sale for the rest of the month due to Halo 3: ODST
|
Quite possibly, about 170K for 360 as for 26th September or over 200K is possible still considering Halo ODST has sold over 2 million already.
|
first of all 50K WW is hardly a lot of boost even if it does happen.
secondly don't forget about 50 dollars rebate MS just introduced.
thirdly only first games from big franchises can make huge boosts to hardwares, majority of existing Halo fans (if not all) already own Xbox, only small amount of new comers will buy a system for the game, if anything can move Xbox hardware thats will be the rebate, not the game.
Same goes for Mario, NSMB won't move as many hardwares as the 50 dollars price cut would do, if it can move hardware for Wii in November, so can MW2 for PS360.
