Heheh, not only is it in the actual thread, it's in PS3's top 10 sellers of 2009 after only 2 weeks on the market. Really impressive I must say. In fact, I'd expect it'd be in the top 10 during 2010 as well, thanks to healthy NA and EU sales.

I sure am. Hopefully it'll gain a bigger vocal following too (I know plenty of folks who check this thread from time to time, but they need to post more! ) but 2010 looks to be a great year for everyone. So it should be fun.

Right now I'm actually working on a "2009 in review" thread that uses a lot of information from this thread. Basically it'll be a recap of how each console and handheld did software wise in 2009. Should prove to be interesting.

Agreed. I'm actually surprised by how "little" a game needs to sell to be in the top 10 for each console.

(Numbers based off of each console's #10 position)

360's: 1,750,000
DS's: 1,830,000
Wii's: 1,510,000 (surprising, seeing as the rest of the Wii's top 10 hold some BIG numbers)
PS3's: 1,620,000
PSP's: 450,000 (blech...)

With those numbers posted, FFXIII should easily stay in the PS3's 2010 top 10 (and maybe 360's, but we'll see how that goes).

Well I expect FF13 to do BIG SALES on both PS3 &  360

hopefully 6 - 7 Million from the west for them combined {runs away}

Yep, 360 sure showed it's million seller muscle these past few weeks. Beat out the DS by 1 game, and was only second by 1 game. But yes, it's been a great year for everyone (PSP had a couple of late comers too, so it's nothing to be ashamed of! ).

Next year (or... this years!) will be a lot of fun. And I'm hoping that. Mr. Bacon turns out right!
