2.the 360 is cheaper yet it still being outsold by a $250 wii and has a even bigger gap than ps3 and xbox.

he got offline quick...but the like somebody else said 360 is not cemented in 2nd...SONY almost closed the gap once they can do it again. Wat does the arcade have to do with this??? ppl bought arcade instead of the other model...so wat??

These threads are rather pointless and who knows how PS3 / 360 will sell in the future.

Ohh and besides the 360 HAD a 8million+ lead a few weeks ago, its currently a 7.66million lead (and it'll probably be down to ~6.5million lead by the end of the year)

I am sure about beeing the PS3 the second this gen and th lead is not 8+ Mio it is 7.66 Mio. The Fact that the PS3 erased in TWO weeks the lead that the 360 could build up in the last 8 months means nothing to you ? Dont forget that even with a much higher Price the Xbox 360 could not build up a big advantage. What we see now is almost all from the 2005-2006 where the Xbox 360 had no competitors. And the Rest is the fact that a lot of people bought the 360 MULTIPLE Times because of the RROD I know a several people which just dont wanted to wait for a repaired box so they bought a new one.  

MS learned a lot from the Xbox and they had a time/price Advantage but thats it. With a 399 Start Price and a similar launch date as the Xbox 360 whe had just a race between Sony and Nintendo and I am glad about the fact that MS is in the Race. More competition better for us. But The PS Brand and Hardware of the PS3 are still better noone can say otherwise the difference isnt as big as every one expected but there is a difference. sony lost a lot but they are still superior over MS. And Bluray was a smart move that will pay off in the long run. Sony made a lot of mistakes but not enough to loose the race against MS.

2010 will be an even stronger year for the PS3 then for the 360 better games are coming and unless the most people I think that Natal will be a huge Flop you need some tactile feedback to play a game thats what I hated on eyetoy and the same thing will be Natal. Nintendo considered this technology aswell as they designed the WII but they decided against it and for sure they thought well about it. The other thing is that Natal will use a lot of Processing Power unless the Sony Wand. The games will be graphically inferior vs PS 3 Wand Games due to the fact that the Wand Controlling will be integrated in the OS and the OS as a Core for itself so practically it wont use any of the PS3 Gaming Power Natal will i am sue about it unless MS will integrate a CPU in the Camera or add some extra Power for Natal to the mainboard. The PS3 wil have the lead until christmas 2011 and there is nothing going to change that.

Xbox 360 sales are undertracked on this site, while PS3 and Wii Sales are overtracked, NPD (North American Sales) has proven this many times, Xbox 360 definetly still have an 8+ million lead on the PS3.
