Damn in the latest videos the graphics have been dumbed down a whole lot, the game now looks pretty generic. The graphics look like they turned the settings to medium on a pc game, everything is down a notch, textures, lighting, polygon count. I have to wonder what problems they had with the game that they had to lower the graphics bar by this much in the final months before release.

You usually expect games to look better as development moves on, not worse. Those first screen shots with the closeup of that girl were breathtaking, and not even one blocky curve in sight. Now the textures are compressed and fuzzy, and you can see the blocky shapes everywhere in the environment, and the lighting went from terrific with advanced skin shading and crisp shadows, to cheap run of the mill skin shading and washed out shadows. Now everything looks flat and washed out, and all i see are blurry textures, blocky models, and human faces which except for the main characters look dead and creepy.

I though this game would revolutionize gaming, and it's graphics would make the dream of a believable interactive movie possible, this game went from CG quality graphics to just another game. Big dissapointment.

I actually may not. The US will still receive the content in that Chronicles version from EU. All you have to do is prorder the game from GameStop and you get a voucher code to download the extra stuff, including that Taxidermist Scene I'm just dying to play.
