Not much. XBox 360 sells really well during the holidays and still has the cheapest system of the 3 on the market. Still has a larger library and more quality titles overall. We'll see what happens. Even if the PS3 outsells the XBox 360 I don't think it'll be more then 500K worldwide. XBox 360 will outsell in the U.S. I think.

So that's the big X360 savior, Halo and Natal...

First off Natal is going to do nothing for sales, it's just an accessory, it's the same with the PS Wand, I believe that it will do nothing to the PS3's sales.

Now Halo's not going to save the X360, it's going to keep it alive but if all Microsoft has is Halo after Halo games then the X360 well die a very quick death. They need a new and different game to save them, Halos not going to do it, it's just prolonging there death.

Right before the X360 got it's price cut and became cheaper then the Wii, people were saying the X360 would outsell the Wii...we know the result to that. And sure it has a larger library but larger quality games? lol maybe back in 2008, the PS3 is system with the games now, the multiplats are even favouring the PS3 now, also nothing can compete with GoWIII, Uncharted2, FFVersusXIII, GT5, The Last Guardian, Ratchet & Clank etc. (those were games coming up, already right now the PS3 has the better exclusives.)

The PS3 will outsell the X360 far more then 500K.

All well and good, but its till around 7.6 million behind the 360, even if it was able to sell this much better than the 360 every week (not going to happen, but lets just say for fun), it would take almost a year to catch up to the 360, and it won't sell this much better for much longer, even if it kept selling 50K better than the 360 every week it would take about 3 years to catch up.

Basically even if things go great for the PS3 for the next few years, the gen will be pretty much over by the time it gets to second place.

How far is it behind the Wii? The Wii gets a price cut in what, two weeks?

Either way I don't think MS is going to win this year, the $100 price cut on the PS3 is too much damage when you combine it with Japan's Final Fantasy release. Gran Turismo will go in for a fatality if It's released this year.

2010 will probably be the last year the 360 leads unless MS has something big up their sleeves besides Natal.

@avinash : Oh no it won't, PS3 will crush the 360 a lot faster than you think.

Look, PS3 is outselling 360 2:1 this week again. It will be a lot worse next christmas with GT5 out and FF13 in Japan. 360 will be humiliated when those 2 games are out.
