first, if you take the 360 out to your friends house, they've to have a 360, since the 360 HDD is not exactly a "NORMAL" HDD.

2nd, PSN it's a lot better with the movie service than XBL......i mean, it's sony (sony pictures, columbia pictures, partnership with almost EVERY film producer) for godsake.

3rd, this discussion it's just plain stupid, the quality of the Dowloadable or Stream movies WILL NEVER be like a Blu-ray. why? because the 1st it's compressed, and the 2nd one it's being STREAMED = SHIT, even with the new MS technology. Also let's not forget that a Blu-ray has extra content AND it's "touchable", you can grab it, you can have it FOR DECADES, and will not be erased or something.

Okay, that's your opinion and u know mine. Time will tell wether the hardcore videophiles and the mums and dads will put the majority of their monies into DDL. There are so many issues with this idea, tho, that IMHO DDL will take the "back seat" as u say. BD's just have way too much momentum and are the best way to enjoy the full package.

Interesting thing to note; most PC enthusiasts don't buy movies and it's mostly these people that are predicting this future.

Are you implying that BR movies aren't compressed?

It is so obvious. SONY sells the PS3 in record numbers and what do we get; SONY haters doing their worst.

Now onto HD films. BD hardware is in record numbers, along with BD SW and what do we get; The usual haters again doing damage control. M$ trains it's plebs well, it seems.

Anyone can guess. It takes no effort to throw out lots of predictions and have some of them be correct. You are not and wiser or better for having your guesses be right. Even a blind man can hit the bullseye.
